Writing Detectives in Year 2

Today Y2H have been helping out PC Dewhurst and the South Yorkshire Police. Early this morning we discovered that our classroom had been covered in yellow tape with some mysterious, intriguing artefacts hidden underneath a large, blue sheet. We were given a letter asking if we could link the items together to discover who the Police were looking for.

Public Consultation on Admission Number

The Governors of St Marie’s School, a Catholic Voluntary Academy, are holding a consultation, with the permission of the Trustees of the Diocese of Hallam, about the Published Admission Number (PAN) of the school. In recent years, the PAN for St Marie’s School has been 30 pupils per year. However, three times out of the last four years, the Governors have felt it necessary to increase temporarily the number admitted to the school to 45 pupils so as not to separate siblings within the same family or to disadvantage first-born catholic applicants from the parishes that the school serves.

Popcorn and Lego!

The HSA Film night was a huge success with a great turn out to watch the Lego Movie. Thank you to all the families who supported the event and for the HSA members for giving up their time to organise and run it. Was there any popcorn left over?
