Y4 Visit to Sherwood Forest

Year 4 had a fantastic time on their visit to Sherwood Forest today. They learned some of the stories told of the legendary Robin Hood and explored the ancient woodland oaks- inlcuding the 'Major Oak,' which is thought to be over 1000 years old! As part of their visit, the children also had the chance to be outlaws themselves and built dens in the woods. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped us make this a visit to remember.

Little Way Week

This week, Year 4 have been learning about the life of St Therese of Lisieux and her 'Little Way.' St Therese believed that what matters in life is great love and so Year 4 have been trying to emulate her example by performing small acts of kindness and marking them with flowers on a special display. Year 4 have also been using their sketching skills to draw St Therese. The picture shown is by Joseph.
