As part of our Geography topic, we have been learning about the vital work of David Attenborough and his important message about our impact on the planet.
We were very luck today to have a visit from Environmental Consultant Rebecca Fernandes. She spoke to our class about water pollution and conservation. We learnt about the causes of pollution and the role we can all play in reducing it. We also found out about water conservation, how water is cleaned and the ways in which we can protect and conserve our water. The children loved taking part in a quiz to test their newfound knowledge! As ‘environmental experts’, Year 2 have been challenged by Rebecca to teach two people each about water pollution and how they can help do their bit to help our planet.
